If you want to experience the best of Zanzibar paradise, then this day trip is for you. We'll leave early in the morning after breakfast and head to Fumba where we will depart with the boat. We will first visit a naturally formed swimming pool inside the ocean. This relatively shallow pool is surrounded by rock formations and has crystal-clear water.
You'll take a swim and take astonishing pictures. We'll continue our boat journey towards a white sandbank for a fruit picnic. We'll then walk to shore from to shallow waters for a seafood lunch. After lunch we'll visit the impressively old baobab tree on the island. We'll head back to the boat for some more swimming & snorkeling. We'll drop you back off at your accommodation in the late afternoon.

Prison Island

We'll pick you up from youor accomodation and head to the docks in Stonetown where we'll depart by boat. After about 20 to 30 minutes we'll reach prison island. You'll start your island tour with a visit to the enormous land tortoises that inhabit the island. You'll get a chance to pet them, take pictures, and feed them some healthy kale. We'll continue the tour with a visit to the old prison buildings on the island. Your guide will explain what the prison life looked like back in the days. Before heading back to your accommodation we'll enjoy some fruits on the islands' beach

Zanzibar Mnemba Snorkeling

We will pick you up from your accommodation and to the Stonetown docks to continue our journey by boat. Close to Mnemba Island you'll jump into the water and follow the colorful fish and other marine life. You'll be able to admire corals and maybe even dolphins for the lucky ones.

Zanzibar Fishing Tour

If you ever wanted to “catch your own lunch” then the Zanzibar Fishing Tour is for you. You’ll have to wake up early to start your trip at 5am. You’ll be fishing on the water from 5 to 10am, to cook your own catch of the day on the grill for lunch. After having your own caught fish, you’ll be driven back to the hotel.
Our guides will show you the local way of fishing and teach you the ropes.

We will pick you up in the early morning and head to the south of the island to start our boat tour from there. We’ll try to spot dolphins while they’re out hunting. We’ll provide you with snorkeling gear and you’ll jump into the water as these magnificent creatures are about to pass by. We’ll get back into the boat and pursue them again.
IMPORTANT: The dolphins are wild, they are not held in captivity. We are their visitors and we are there to observe. Behavior that can harm the dolphins or other marine life will not be tolerated.

Snorkeling off Prison island, viewing a stunning array of colored corals and tropical fish of the islands before reaching our dream place Nakupenda. A place where brilliant birdlife exists, very white sand, limpid, and crystalline water.

You would live in the natural reserve that hospitable by its naturalistic and their proper pearls of Indian Ocean. The language of the white sands and their alternative sea appear and disappear. Enjoy our seasonal fruits, sand bathing, and our Seafood lunch. Relax on the sandbank or discover marine life around the sandbank before riding our motorboat or sailing back to Stone Town.

We visit Mnemba Atoll from our Kiwengwa and Matemwe dive centres.
We provide free transfers from all the hotels between Chwaka Bay and the Northern area of Matemwe.
If you are staying in different places on the island (Nungwi, Paje, Jambiani, Michamvi, Kizimkazi, Stone Town, Mangapwani, Chuini), you can still dive with us. For most of these areas we can help you to arrange a taxi.
Meeting time is in the morning (between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.) and we are back after 5-6 hours (between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.), depending on the tide and sea conditions.

Chumbe Island Coral Park is an award-winning private nature reserve that was developed from 1991 for the conservation and sustainable management of uninhabited Chumbe Island off Zanzibar, one of the last pristine coral islands in the region. The park includes a fully protected coral reef sanctuary and forest reserve that harbour extremely rare and endangered animals, a Visitor and Education centre, a small eco-lodge, nature trails and historical ruins.

All buildings and operations are based on state-of-the-art eco-technology aiming at zero impact on the environment (rainwater catchment, photovoltaic energy and solar water heating, composting toilets, vegetative greywater filtration etc.). The Island can be reached in 45 minutes boat ride from Mbweni Beach, It covers 16 hectors of undisturbed forest and surrounded by a virgin coral reef, the sanctuary has more than 200 a pieces of pristine stone corals, about 400 species of fish and turtles & dolphins regularly passing by.

Forget fishing in a modern fishing vessel with the latest in reels and rods and a fighting chair as well! We offer you the unique opportunity to sail out to the sea with a Zanzibari fisherman and show you what ‘fishing for a living’ is really all about.
Setting sail from one of East Africa’s oldest wafts, the horizon is dotted with Local Boat, local fisherboats with outriggers, heading out to sea with full mast.. We will equippe you with simple fishing gear, with what locals are even catching kingfish, yellow fin tuna, barracuda and grouper. A real adventure!

The half-day or full day trip includes the boat ride, fishing guide, local fishing gear, fruits and softdrinks.
